Torquay United drew a third consecutive league match this afternoon at the Launa Windows Stadium against Alfreton Town in the Vanarama Conference.
United’s took the lead in the 72nd minute, when Jordan Chapell managed to get onto a long goal kick by Gulls keeper Jordan Seabright and slide his right footed strike passed the on rushing George Willis into the bottom right hand corner of the net.
The visitors equaliser came in stopage time at the end of the game when Andi Thanoj curled a 25-yard effort into the top right hand corner of Seabright’s goal, giving the United keeper no chance.
The draw leaves Torquay 10th in the table with the FA Trophy fixture next for the Gulls.
