Stevens in from the Cold

TORQUAY UNITED have signed winger Danny Stevens on a short-term contract to the end of the season.
Danny ended his initial six-year relationship with the Gulls when he left Plainmoor last summer, but new manager Chris Hargreaves has restored the skilful wide-man to Yellow ranks.
Danny came through the youth system at Tottenham and then moved to Luton before signing for United in 2007. His return to prominence comes after a successful trial over the last couple of weeks, and he will be available for the weekend trip to Portsmouth.
Striker Scott Rendell, meanwhile, will not be signing a deal with the club after the two parties failed to reach an agreement.
