SSD Team Up with United Manager
Sport South Devon are happy to announce the signing of Torquay United Manager Chris Hargreaves for the 2014/15 season.
Chris will be writing a monthly column throughout the season for Sport South Devon, providing fans with chance to see what goes on in the world of football management, from the man tasked with one of the hardest jobs in the football world ……… guiding a club out of the Conference and back into the football league.
“I’m really excited to have teamed up with Sport South Devon for the coming season and have the chance to put my views across each month through their website. It will give me the opportunity to speak to the fans and let them know as much as I can throughout the season,” Hargreaves told Sport South Devon’s Matt Green.
Sport South Devon will also be sponsoring the United Manager for the coming season, as we support the re-building that Chris is trying to undertake at Plainmoor.

Appointed back in January 2014, Hargreaves was unable to stop the Gulls dropping back down into the Conference, inheriting a team that was low on confidence and low on goals.
Over the close season Hargreaves and his team have been building a new look United which, if pre-season is anything to go by, will provide some excitement and entertaining football for the Gulls fans.
‘Hargreaves Uncut’ will be published at the start of each month, starting in August, exclusively with Sport South Devon.
