TEIGNMOUTH have a great chance to go top of the table this afternoon but first they will have to beat bottom side Okehampton Argyle away. Then it will depend on whether BOVEY TRACEY can do them a favour at leaders St Martins. Both South Devon sides were in action last Wednesday night; Teignmouth convincingly won 5-1 at Budleigh Salterton but it was a last minute winner that settled things at the Western Counties Ground. The University of Exeter were leading by two goals at one point , but home side Bovey struck twice, both through Matt Hawes to level proceedings. But the point was lost as the Uni boys clinched it at the death to move into the top six.

Last night, Watcombe Wanderers Thirds (with the help of a couple of first teamers) thrashed Ilsington Villa 11-0 at Coach Road in the first round of the A&S Paving Devon Intermediate Cup; Sam Pyne scored a hat-trick, there were braces for Harvey Hickman, Luke Rhodes and Sean Finch and Pete Summerfield and an own goal completed the scoring. Buckland Athletic Ladies were also in emphatic form with a 10-1 hammering of Budleigh Salterton in their first ever competitive match.
