Joss Makes Permanent Switch
UNITED have signed midfielder Joss Labadie on a permanent deal to the end of the season.
Joss has been on loan at Plainmoor for the last month but when Notts County agreed to cancel his contract on Friday morning, the Gulls moved in with a short-term offer.
The powerful 23 year-old first came to Yellow prominence during an explosive loan spell toward the end of last season, when his goals played a major part in our League 2 survival.
His career began as a graduate of the youth system at West Brom, from where he enjoyed loan stints at Shrewsbury, Cheltenham and Tranmere. His stay at Tranmere became permanent and he stayed with Rovers for two years before signing at Notts County in 2012.
The deal was completed before yesterday’s transfer deadline and Joss will be in the United squad for today’s big game at Portsmouth.
